Fall is here and now it’s time to make plans to attend the Camp Horseshoe Off Site Sew-in at Windwood Fly-In Resort in Beautiful Canaan Valley located in Tucker County, on Oct. 22-25. It will be the perfect place to spend quality time with your sewing machine and quilting friends both new and old. Come enjoy Windwood Resorts relaxed atmosphere, Mary Smith, of Parsons, will be instructing one class, Pointy Pinwheels, a fun quilt to make in any size you wish. It will be a great one to use up some of your scraps. Also a mystery project will be available. Take advantage of this time to start a new project or catch up on those projects you have started and just haven’t found time to complete.

While at the retreat there are no chores, meals to cook or phones to answer. Join us for a great learning experience. You will be completely spoiled as we sew, eat and sleep a little. The fellowship and friendships formed will last a lifetime and you can take home a finished keepsake to keep or give to someone special.

Amelia’s Restaurant will be doing the cooking for both breakfast and lunch! It’s full of friendly people who are looking forward to having us. Come join in! For a brochure contact Mary Smith at 304-478-2899 or on the web at www.ylayouthleadership.org for all the information. Registration deadline is Oct. 1.
