Williamsburg Shooting Match
Join us for the Williamsburg Shooting Match that will be held Jan. 4 , 2025. The Shooting Match will begin at 7 p.m. Come early! Come Hungry! Delicious hot food and refreshments will be available starting at 6 p.m. Families welcomed; you don’t have to shoot to come get a meal! The Match will be eight rounds, 12-gauge guns only. Full choke, .660 inch minimum. Screw in chokes must be from a recognized supplier (patented) and extend no more than 3 inches beyond original barrel. Barrel length 34” maximum. First Seven rounds @ $2.50 per shot, eighth round 50/50 @ $7.50 per shot. Shooters must compete in the first 7 rounds in order to compete in the 8th round. 50/50 splatter match is $1 per chance between rounds – Cash prizes will be awarded. You do not need to be a shooter to win! The match will be held at the Community Building, 6571 Shoestring, Trail, Williamsburg, WV. We hope to see you all there. Republican Club to meet
The first 2025 meeting of the Greenbrier County Republican Club will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at Cook’s Country Kitchen in Hart’s Run. The public is invited and all attendees are encouraged to come early to enjoy a delicious meal in the dining room. The usual format of meeting on the first Thursday of each month will resume in February. The St. Patrick’s Day Dinner honoring Governor Patrick Morrisey will be on Saturday, Mar. 15. Make plans to attend.
Committee on Aging to require appointments for donations
Due to limited storage space, the Greenbrier County Committee on Aging will accept donations of medical items by appointment only. Items must be clean and in working order, some items still remain available for those who need them.
