Lewisburg City Hall
will be closed Thursday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 25 in observance of Christmas. The City of Lewisburg will not pick up Recycling on Thursday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 25. The Recycling pickup schedule will be as follows: Monday customers – pick up on Monday, Dec. 21; Tuesday customers – pick up on Tuesday, Dec. 22; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday customers – pick up on Wednesday, Dec. 23. Greenbrier Valley Solid Waste will be closed Friday, Dec. 25.
MTA Holiday Schedule
Mountain Transit Authority will be closed the following days for Christmas and New Year’s: Thursday, Dec. 24; Friday, Dec. 25; Monday, Dec. 28; Thursday, Dec. 31; and Friday, Jan. 1, 2016. Schedule information may be obtained by calling 304-872-5872.
White Sulphur Holiday closing & garbage pickup
White Sulphur Springs City Hall will be closed Thursday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 25. Garbage scheduled to be picked up on Dec. 25 will be picked up on Dec. 24, along with the garbage of regular Thursday customers. City Hall will close on Thursday, Dec. 31, at noon and close all day on Friday, Jan. 1, 2016. Friday’s garbage will be collected on Dec. 31, along with Thursday’s customers.

are held at St. James Episcopal Church, 218 South Court Street, Lewisburg, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7 p.m. and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 12 noon.
NarAnon meetings
are held Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, 218 South Court Street, Lewisburg. NarAnon is a 12-step support group for persons effected by someone else’s addiction. Call Susan at 304-646-6506 for more information.
Weekly Al-Anon meeting

The Bluefield Princeton area
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Support Group
meets once a month, usually around the last Tuesday. The group is open to all who have MS and also family and friends. Medical students and such are welcome. There is no charge or fees to join.
