Mountaineer Horseshoe League Recruiting members for 2026
The Mountaineer Horseshoe League in Ronceverte is recruiting adult male and female pitchers, youth boys and girls for Cadet Division (under 13 years old), and young men and women for a Junior Division (13-18 years old). Pitching will begin on May 12 at 6 p.m. at the horseshoe courts on Island Park. The last day to sign up is May 5. For more information contact Allen Withrow at 304-667-1374 or puwithrow@gmail.com. Master Gardeners Plant Sale
The Greenbrier Valley Master Gardeners have announced that their 20th annual plant sale will take place on Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Taking place in the Green Space area at the WV Fairgrounds, this plant sale features perennials and bushes from some of the premier gardens in Lewisburg and its environs. Proceeds from the plant sale will benefit the educational outreach of the Master Gardeners and the permanent Demonstration Garden at the Fairgrounds. Come out to start or add to your dream garden!
