Mountaineer Horseshoe League Recruiting members for 2026
The Mountaineer Horseshoe League in Ronceverte is recruiting adult male and female pitchers, youth boys and girls for Cadet Division (under 13 years old), and young men and women for a Junior Division (13-18 years old). Pitching will begin on May 12 at 6 p.m. at the horseshoe courts on Island Park. The last day to sign up is May 5. For more information contact Allen Withrow at 304-667-1374 or puwithrow@gmail.com. Williamsburg Shooting Match
LAST MATCH OF THE SEASON
The Williamsburg Shooting Match hopes to see you on Apr. 18. The match will begin at 6 p.m. NOTE TIME CHANGE. This will be the last shooting match of the season. Come early! Come Hungry! Bring your family. Delicious hot food and refreshments will be available starting at 6 p.m. Families welcomed; you don’t have to shoot to come get a meal! The Match will be eight rounds, 12-gauge guns only. Full choke, .660 inch minimum. Screw in chokes must be from a recognized supplier (patented) and extend no more than 3 inches beyond original barrel. Barrel length 34” maximum. First Seven rounds @
2.50pershot,eighthround50/50@7.50 per shot. Shooters must compete in the first 7 rounds in order to compete in the 8th round. 50/50 splatter match is $1 per chance between rounds – Cash prizes will be awarded. You do not need to be a shooter to win! The match will be held at the Community Building, 6571 Shoestring, Trail, Williamsburg, WV. We hope to see you all there.
