AHMH’s January/February schedule

Tuesday night Jam Sessions at the American Heritage Music Hall (AHMH) at Island Park, 315 Monroe Avenue, Ronceverte, are planned for Jan. 13, 20 and 27, and Feb. 3, 10, 17 and 24, from 7 to 10/10:30 p.m. each evening. Doors open at 6, music starts at 7 p.m. Admission: Tuesdays $7 each; dance night $10 each. The Saturday Dance in January will be held on the third Saturday, Jan. 17, featuring the music of Country Proud. In February, the dance will be on Saturday, Feb. 28 and will feature the Lilly Mountaineers. Admission includes food, coffee and soft drinks brought in by the audience and donated to the music hall to share with everyone. (Bring your favorite snack to share.) (Note: AHMH DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY FOOD OR DRINKS). A family type atmosphere with no alcohol and no smoking, the Music Hall is handicap accessible, and a nonprofit organization, 501(c)3, located at Island Park, Ronceverte. Narconon

would like to remind families that the use of addicting drugs is on the rise, take steps to protect your family from drug use. AA meetings

are held at St. James Episcopal Church, 218 S. Court, Lewisburg at 7 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 12 noon.

NarAnon meetings

are held Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, 218 South Court Street, Lewisburg. NarAnon is a 12-step support group for persons effected by someone else’s addiction. Contact Susan at 304-646-6506 for questions.

Weekly Al-Anon meeting

is held every Thursday, 7-8 p.m. at Lewisburg united Methodist Church. Enter at back door (Lee Street entrance). Al-Anon is a 12-step organization for family and friends of people with alcohol problems. For information call Sue at 304-646-6506 or Dee at 304-667-1766.

The Bluefield Princeton area

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Support Group

meets once a month, usually around the last Tuesday. The group is open to all who have MS and also family and friends. Medical students and such are welcome. There is no charge or fees to join. We’re into our 28th year as a group. Please come, you’ll find us a caring and encouraging group. For more information call Doug Mullins, group leader, at 304-753-9126.
