Chicken Dinner Fundraiser for Clintonville VFD

Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department will host a Smoked Chicken Dinner on Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department for the purchase of equipment and daily operations. The menu will feature smoked chicken thigh and leg quarters, mashed potatoes and gravy, baked macaroni and cheese, green beans, homemade rolls, dessert and drink. The cost of the meal is $12 for one or $20 for two. Come enjoy your meal with friends and dine-in or carry out. All proceeds will benefit the Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department. Williamsburg Shooting Match

Shooting Match Season is opening. The first Williamsburg shooting match of the season will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20 beginning at 7 p.m. Come early! Come hungry! Delicious hot food and refreshments will be available starting at 6 p.m. Families welcomed; you don’t have to shoot to come get a meal! The Match will be eight rounds, 12-gauge guns only. Full choke, .660 inch minimum. Screw in chokes must be from a recognized supplier (patented) and extend no more than 3 inches beyond original barrel. Barrel length 34” maximum. First Seven rounds at $2.50 per shot, eighth round 50/50 at $7.50 per shot. Shooters must compete in the first seven rounds in order to compete in the eighth round. 50/50 splatter match is $1 per chance between rounds – Cash prizes will be awarded. You do not need to be a shooter to win! The match will be held at the Community Building 6571 Shoestring, Trail, Williamsburg, WV. We hope to see you all there. Organizational meeting for Republican chapters Sept. 25

There will be a “call to action honoring Charlie Kirk” on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 6:30 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg. This will be an organizational meeting for Turning Point USA, the Greenbrier GOP, and Young Republican Chapters. “Join us for a call for unity in our nation and a night of remembrance.”
