BOE celebrates Young Writers Contest winners

On Apr. 14, the Greenbrier County Board of Education recognized the first place winners of the Greenbrier County Young Writers Contest. The students received an individual trophy and a traveling plaque that will go from school to school with their names engraved.

Willa Gibson of Frankford Elementary School won first place honors in the State in the 5-6 grade category. State Young Writers Contest Recognition will be held in Charleston on May 15.
