The Bluebell Garden Club of Lewisburg ventured to Lexington, VA, on May 12. After a brief visit to the Visitor’s Center, where they were greeted and given information about the town, members took a carriage ride throughout the historical and residential areas of Lexington. Excellent tour guides provided many facts concerning the history of the town. Bistro on Main was the site of a wonderful luncheon, which was followed by a shopping trip in the unique and quaint shops of the area. Ice cream from Sweet Things Ice Cream Shoppe completed a perfect, sunny day and visit. A return trip to visit any missed sites is anticipated.
