Lewisburg-Beulah Mae Hefner Belcher, 91, was born Oct. 24, 1927, to William Rufus Hefner and Althea Edna Dotson Hefner in Frankford. Both parents are deceased.

Beulah married the late Victor Belcher, Sr., in 1950, and they lived in Caldwell.  Victor passed in 2002. Beulah and Victor had two children, the late Victor Belcher, Jr., and Patricia Ann Deitz, who resides in Pasadena, Maryland, with her husband Jack. Beulah loved her children and grandchildren dearly. Her grandson, Justin C. Deitz and his wife Lauren live in Abingdon, MD, with their girls, Natalie and Morgan. Her granddaughter, Liz Gulak, and her husband, Drew, live in Orlando, FL.

Beulah was a very active member of her church, Fairlea Church of God, until her illness in 2002. She has been a resident of Greenbrier Health Center and was well loved by the staff there. Although speech was a challenge, Beulah always communicated her thankfulness to her caregivers. She always loved music, and could still sing, if you sang with her.

Also, she has two surviving sisters, Shirley Massie of Lewisburg and Evelyn Miller of Frankford.

Preceding her in death were her three brothers, William Hefner, Lester Hefner, and Kyle Hefner; her twin sister, Eula Steele, and her sister, Violet Hefner.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Apr. 27, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, with Pastor Gary Baker officiating.

Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Saturday, at the funeral home.

Online guestbook may be signed at www.morganfh.net.
