Betty Jean Napier Baker

Lewisburg-Betty Jean “Jeanie” Napier Baker, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior at Stonerise Rainelle following a brief illness.

Born Sept. 24, 1949, in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late William “Bill” and Eva Mae Napier.

Ms. Baker was an employee of WVSOM for 35 years. She was a member of the Lewisburg Baptist Church. Betty was a Godly woman who loved the Lord and her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Baker and a brother, William Richard “Billy” Napier, Jr.

Survivors are her loving daughter, Kimberly Simpson (Wayne) of Myrtle Beach, SC; son, Thomas “T.R.” Fuller (Amanda) of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Zachary, Alexis, Madison and Hannah Fuller; sisters, Carolyn Napier, Donna Hanson (Aubrey), Diana Shafer (David), Joyce Clendenin (Roger), and Marie Napier; brother, John Napier (Sharon); and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, with Pastor Jonathan Comer officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until time of the service, Saturday.
