Trinity United Methodist Church, Ronceverte and Shuck Memorial Baptist Church, Lewisburg are joining together to sponsor a fundraising dinner to benefit the country of Nepal, which suffered a devastating earthquake on Apr. 25. The event will take place on Thursday, May 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 707 Pocahontas Avenue, Ronceverte. The menu will consist of spaghetti, salad, bread and dessert. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under. Tickets may be bought in advance by contacting either of the two churches or purchased at the door. All proceeds will be split between the United Methodist Committee on Relief and American Baptist Missions in order to continue to aid the relief and development efforts in Nepal.
