Shepherd’s Center of Greenbrier Valley (SCGV) has announced the 2016 Community Award recipients: Cleve and Ann Benedict. SCGV will honor them at the Kickoff Reception on Jan. 28, at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre and then at the annual CSA Luncheon at the Roland P. Sharp Alumni Center on Mar. 22. Cleve and Ann have been very active in the community since their return to the Greenbrier Valley in 1961. They both have served the St. James Episcopal Church in varied capacities, the State Fair of West Virginia, varied government agencies, Greenbrier Valley Theatre, banking institutions, and much more. They have done much throughout the years for our community and state. Cleve has led our current events class at SCGV Adventures in Learning for many years and continues to be one of our most popular classes.
