This week the West Virginia State Democratic Executive Committee voted to name Belinda Biafore Chair of the West Virginia Democratic Party. Belinda has served as Vice Chair since 2004 and this week Christopher Regan was voted by the committee into the Vice Chair position.

“I’ve dedicated my time and efforts to the Democratic Party for over 30 years and to be supported by those who have worked with me is an honor. I can’t thank them enough for their friendship and their hard work in the past and the hard work we are embarking on now. There is always work to be done and I’m ready. We will continue to support our hardworking West Virginians that are being hurt by the Republican’s extreme radical agenda. With Chris as Vice Chair, we will stand up for those West Virginia families that are losing their wages, benefits, health care, voting rights and countless other parts of their lives because of the Republicans and their extreme radical agenda.”

Christopher Regan is an attorney at Bordas and Bordas in Wheeling and is a longtime supporter of Democrats.

“It was a great result for the Party today. We are in a great position to reach out to independents, young people and everybody who is turned off by the radical Republican agenda being ran through in Charleston. We’re going to get to work right away.”
