We are pleased to support this effort to encourage innovative entrepreneurs to help their ideas become reality and grow the local economy,\u201d stated Debby Sizemore, BB&T senior vice president.<\/span>\r\n\r\nThe Greenbrier Valley Entreprenuer Caf\u00e9 is organized by a partnership of the Greenbrier Valley Economic Development, New River Community and Technical College and the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce. The June 10 event to be moderated by a BB&T executive will be held at Greenbrier County Public Library at 5:30 p.m. Applicants develop a 5-minute pitch detailing their business and needs for seed funding. A 3-minute question and answer period follows. The seed funding is increased by crowd-funding provided by attendees paying $10. Then attendees become the \u201csharks\u201d as they complete a point system ballot to determine the winner. Sam\u2019s Club has been a staunch supporter of the Entrepreneur Caf\u00e9 and will provide a delicious supper for crowd-funders.
