Barbara Joan Fury Benge

Caldwell-Barbara Joan Fury Benge, 60, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 31, 2016.
She was born Feb. 15, 1956, at Ronceverte, the daughter of Beattice B. “Betty” Groves Fury of White Sulphur Springs and the late Elmer Wyatt Fury.
Barbara was a homemaker and a member of the Family of God Church in White Sulphur Springs.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by brother, Roger Dale Fury.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Roger D. Benge; three sons, Marty Allen Fury and wife Tonya of Fredericksburg, VA, Daniel Dale Benge and wife Kristen of Nashville, TN, and Jonathan Michael Benge of Fairmont; surviving siblings include Donald Fury, Albert Fury, James Fury, Lucy Taylor and Ruth Ridgeway all of White Sulphur Springs, Sandra Lockhart of Ronceverte, Steve Fury of Lewisburg and Hazel Greenwall of Jolo, WV; and five grandsons, Cody, Jesse, Casey, Hunter and Gage.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at Mapledale Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, with Pastor John Kelly officiating.
The family received friends Thursday evening, Aug. 4, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
