The Ballroom Dancers of Lewisburg, Chapter 6073 of USA Dance, (a nonprofit organization promoting the healthy benefits of ballroom dance) will offer classes for strictly beginners in Rumba and East Coast Swing starting on Monday, Mar. 17.
Instructors are Julian Meadows and Shirley Griffith and instruction will be geared for those who have not taken classes before in these two ballroom dances. The time is 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Monday nights in the Fellowship Hall of Old Stone Presbyterian Church. You need a partner, so only couples please apply.
A monthly Social Dance provides an opportunity to practice your steps or learn more dances that you can do at weddings or to music played at other social gatherings. You must register in advance and only a limited number will be accepted.
