First Baptist Church of Fairlea is happy to announce that another AWANA year begins Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 6:45 p.m. AWANA, which stands for “Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed” (2 Timothy 2:15), is a free program for children ages three (if potty-trained) through 5th grade. All middle and high schoolers will meet at the same time in the newly relaunched FBC Fairlea Youth Group. These programs enable churches and parents to teach their children to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. They are open to the community; all are welcome to join! AWANA and Youth Group are held each Wednesday from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 PM.

The unique design of the AWANA program allows children to sign up at any time throughout the school year. However, join us as soon as possible to begin making friends and be a part of the fun! A typical AWANA evening includes not only Bible lessons and verse memorization, but also games, mission projects, special themed nights, and an AWANA awards store.

For more information, call the church at 304-645-3533, or if possible, preregister AWANA children and Youth Group teens online at www.fbcfairlea.com. Hope to see you Sept. 6!
