A consumer representative from the Attorney General\u2019s Office will hold public events during November throughout central and southeastern West Virginia. The office representative will educate consumers on the latest scams in their area, provide tips on how to guard their personal information and answer questions about consumer protection settlements.\r\nJustin Arvon, a consumer outreach and compliance specialist with the office, will host the events, which are scheduled below:\r\n\u2022 Nov. 8: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Mobile Office Hours at Marlinton City Hall, 709 2nd Avenue, Marlinton\r\n\u2022 Nov. 15: 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Mobile Office Hours at Lewisburg City Hall, 942 W. Washington Street, Lewisburg\r\n\u2022 Nov. 23: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Mobile Office Hours at Rainelle City Hall, 201 Kanawha Avenue, Rainelle\r\n\u201cHaving these events allows consumers to ask questions and talk face-to-face with our office with any concerns they may have,\u201d Attorney General Morrisey said. \u201cIt\u2019s a great way for consumers to learn how to protect their personal information and about additional issues that may be affecting their area.\u201d\r\nThe events are open to the public; reservations are not required.
