Members of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) West Virginia Chapter and other workplace learning professionals will soon come together in honor of the Chapter’s second annual training and development conference, scheduled for Feb. 22 and 23, at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs. The purpose of the conference is to allow workplace learning professionals in the state and beyond to further their knowledge and skills as they relate to the various aspects of training and development, including performance improvement, instructional design, and training delivery.

The conference will offer two educational tracks, an entry-level and a professional-level. Participants will gain knowledge from subject matter experts, develop their skills through hands-on activities, and network with other professionals in the field.

“We were really pleased with how last year’s conference turned out but wanted to make this year’s conference even better,” said ATD West Virginia President Terry Mayhew. “In addition to offering two educational tracks, we have scheduled activities and networking time throughout the conference to provide the greatest benefit to our attendees. We want them to not only learn the material but also be able to apply and really understand it.”

The conference fee is $129 for members and $159 for non-members. Payment will be accepted online at the time of registration. For questions related to the conference schedule or registration, visit www.atdwv.org or call ATD West Virginia President Terry Mayhew at 304-412-3343.
