Enjoy a fun-filled evening at Carnegie Hall’s 2nd Annual Art Party, a fundraiser to benefit the arts and educational programming at the Hall, on Saturday, July 27 from 7-10 p.m. At “The Art Party” you’ll enjoy an evening of great music, food, beverage and art of all genres.

On the lawn, there will be demonstrations by Gary Roper, potter; Merideth Young, jeweler; Jeff Davis, wood whittler; Jeannie Collins, yarn-spinner; and featured painter, Ian Bode, who will donate his painting on the spot to Carnegie for raffle at the event. Later, as activities move inside the Hall, Sarah Elkins will read her caricature poetry composed from earlier in the evening. Matt Evans, singer/songwriter will grace the stage with his musical talents; and for the grand finale performance, Crystal Good, Charleston’s own Valley Girl and Affrilachian poet, will hypnotize the audience with her nationally recognized, statement-making poetry. As you exit for the evening, witness a dazzling display of fire and light on the lawn by dancer Cari Cohen.

Throughout the evening, from the Board Room and Museum Gallery, you can enjoy wine, beer and appetizers compliments of some of the area’s best eateries, with music provided by local band, Sassafraz and pianist, Lori Evans.

Over 35 spectacular items will be raffled at the event. Raffle tickets will be sold separately from admission for $1 per ticket. Bid on items such as, a private, after-hours distillery tour and full cocktail reception for you and 20 of your closest friends at Smooth Ambler Spirits Distillery in Maxwelton, valued at $1,000, a designer leather purse from Meredith Wendell valued at $795, and a bottle of Chateau Montelena, Cabernet Sauvignon, 2001 valued at $350!

Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Food and beverage are included in cost of admission. For tickets, call the Hall at 304-645-7917 or make your purchase online at www.carnegiehallwv.org. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the July 25 Ivy Terrace concert.
