Once accepted, students are able to earn their practical nursing certificate in just 11 months.<\/span>\r\n\r\nWith newly installed equipment and state of the art simulation labs, the program offers the ability to learn clinical skills in a safe and nonthreatening environment.\r\n\r\n\u201cThis program is challenging and rewarding for students who hope to work in the health care industry. Our faculty have extensive professional experience. The curriculum is designed to teach the most current information and procedures required to be successful on the job,\u201d said JoAnna Perry, Director of the Practical Nursing Program at New River CTC.\r\n\r\nThe application deadline for the program has been extended until 4 p.m. on Apr. 29.
