White Sulphur Springs-Andrew Ethan Adwell, 13, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018, at his home following a courageous journey.

Born May 24, 2005, at Ronceverte, he was a son of William Randolph Adwell and Alainna Ramsey Reaser.

Andrew was a student at White Sulphur Springs Elementary School, and was a faith-based young man who attended several churches in the White Sulphur Springs area. He loved hunting, fishing, playing guitar and visiting friends daily around White Sulphur Springs.

Andrew is survived by his mother and step-father, Alainna Reaser and husband Curtis of White Sulphur Springs; father, William Randolph Adwell of Blue Sulphur Springs; maternal grandparents, Darrell and Melva Ramsey; paternal grandmother, Ada Adwell; sister, Brianna Lynn Adwell and brother, James Thomas Adwell, all of White Sulphur Springs. Also surviving is a special niece, Madelyn Adwell of Clintonville and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in White Sulphur Springs, where Pastor Phil Meyer and Pastor Shari Stilgenbauer officiated. Interment was in the Dowdy Cemetery at Glace.

The family received friends Tuesday evening, July 31, at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in White Sulphur Springs.

In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established at First Citizens Bank in White Sulphur Springs to help the family with final expenses.

Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs is in charge of arrangements.
