The Alderson Miss Fireworks Pageant has been open to Greenbrier, Summers and Monroe counties for age 16 to 22. Contestants will compete for the title of Miss Fireworks who will reign over the 4th of July activities during the Alderson Celebration. A scholarship in the amount of $1,200 will be awarded to the winner along with the opportunity to compete in the Queen of Queens Pageant for Miss West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festivals Pageant, held in Charleston in January 2015.
