The Alderson Green Grocer is happy to be of service to Alderson and the surrounding communities as citizens reach the recovery phase of the flood devastation.
Thanks to hardworking and dedicated volunteers, the Alderson Green Grocer is open for business with a constant supply of local vegetables and fruits from area farmers. The produce section of the Green Grocer is stocked with onions, salad mix, raspberries, squash, and zucchini, sugar snap peas, cauliflower and cucumbers, all locally sourced. Additionally, the Green Grocer carries an array of other essential vegetables and fruits such as apples, oranges, bananas, sweet corn, watermelons, lemons and limes.
The Sunny Side Café & Deli is up and running as well. Everyday Sunny Side Café offers pulled pork and brisket sandwiches and a variety of side dishes. The Deli has ten different cheeses and ten different meats available for slicing. The deli cooler has ground chuck, ribeye steak and pork loin chops available for purchase as well. The Alderson Green Grocer and Sunny Side Café & Deli is located off Route 12. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
