The new and relocated Alderson Community Garden is open for registration. The garden is located across from the Alderson Hospitality House in Meadows Park, 203 High Street, Alderson. A raised bed in the garden costs $10, but is free to members of the Alderson Community Food Hub. Alderson Community Food Hub membership is $20 and includes a free space at the Alderson Community Market, which will be held Tuesdays starting May 8 from 4-7 p.m. at the Alderson Visitor Center. The garden in located in a beautiful spot and is the perfect place to have your first time or continuing adventure into growing your own food; the healthy, affordable, educational, and fun way to eat!
