The Alderson Community Farmers Market has some wonderful events planned for September, and we look forward to seeing you there.
• Sept. 7 – Wild West Day – BYO Boots, roping demonstration, games and more. Line dancing. Dancers needed.
• Sept. 14 – Corn Day – Corn husk crafts and corn eating competition. There will be different age classes for the children. Come and eat the day away with a healthy food.
• Sept. 21 – Apple Day – Apple games, and shrunken apple doll making – an old lost art.
• Sept. 28 – Potato Day – Sprout potatoes, science with vegetables.
Music includes: Sept. 7 – Erica and Paolo Marks with Josh Bennett; Sept. 14 – Kevboetanna; Sept. 21 – Greenbrier Girls Academy Drumming Troupe; Sept. 28 – TBD.
As always, music is free to the public, and participation in all activities are as well. Come join us on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Alderson Community Farmers Market, located on Main Street (Rt. 3) in Alderson (next to the stop sign).
