On Saturday, Nov. 28, from 1 to 3 p.m. the Alderson Visitors Center is hosting “Alderson, Authors & Books.”
Photographer Burke Shires will have his new book “Monroe County in Photography” for sale and he will be available to talk to about his work. It is a beautiful addition to any ones collection of West Virginia photos and would make a great gift.
“Alderson Remembered” is the second booklet in the series of “History Highlights and Tantalizing Tidbit” by Belinda Anderson. Commissioned by Alderson Main Street for visitors and locals alike; this series has some wonderful stories of the history of Alderson West Virginia and the people who live(d) here. Both volumes will be available to buy individually or as a set. Belinda will sign the booklets and answer your questions about her research.
So stop by the Alderson Visitors Center when you’re in town for Small Business Saturday. Spend the day in “The Gem of the Hills” and experience some place different.
For more information on the Holiday events in Alderson, call 304-445-2005.
