Greenbrier Valley Theatre (GVT), the State Professional Theatre of West Virginia, is excited to announce its upcoming fundraiser, the ‘70s Lip Sync Battle and Dance Party, on Saturday, Nov. 17.

The doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the Lip Sync Battle will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and include two drink tickets and a vote for the Lip Sync Champion. For more information, call the GVT Box Office at 304-645-3838 or visit www.gvtheatre.org.

One contestant ready to get groovy is Debbie Kilcollin. She and her husband are going to get down to raise money for GVT. A Board of Trustees member and long-time supporter of the theatre, this Lip Sync Champion contender believes a Lip Sync Battle is an ingenious way to support GVT and keep the theatre strong for another 50 years.

“It’s all good fun and for a good cause. It will be a night filled with laughter, dancing, singing and a grand time for all,” said Kilcollin.

Can’t make it on the 17th? Make your voice heard! Voting stations are available at the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center and GVT! Debbie and Mark Kilcollin take the lead for our ‘70s Lip Sync Battle voting. Other contestants include Mark Bowe, John Manchester, Mary Baldwin, Steve Beery, Derek Teaney, Penny Fioravante, and Tom White.

Pull out your favorite ‘70s fashions and watch as locals battle to become Lewisburg’s first ever Lip Sync Champion, followed by a dy-no-mite dance party. Keep the good vibes coming with an after-party at the Asylum.

Tickets are $50 per person and include two drink tickets and a vote for the Lip Sync Battle. For tickets or more information, call GVT’s Box Office at 304-645-3838 or visit www.gvtheatre.org.
