Sweet news for chocolate lovers across the region: tasting tickets for the 18th annual Lewisburg Chocolate Festival are now available for purchase both online and in person. The popular downtown event returns on Saturday, Apr. 11 with chocolate tastings, live entertainment, and culinary demonstrations throughout Lewisburg, and will also be the first date of the Montwell Community Market at Montwell Commons.

Tickets can now be purchased in person at the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center. In-person purchases are cash only, and buying early allows attendees to skip the Will Call line on the day of the festival. Tickets are also available online through the official festival page. Organizers note that tickets are selling quickly, and attendees are strongly encouraged to purchase them in advance.

Tasting tickets are sold in packs of five for $5. Individual tastings around downtown typically cost 1 to 4 tickets each. Festival organizers will keep a limited number of tickets available for purchase on the day of the event, but early purchase is recommended.

If purchased online, tickets can be picked up at Will Call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the day of the festival, and attendees should bring their email receipt.

If tickets sell out, organizers encourage guests to check back online frequently as additional tasting inventory may be added as more participants join the event.

Tickets are non-refundable, as the Chocolate Festival is a fundraiser for nonprofits in the area. This year, the festival’s nonprofit partner is the Family Refuge Center, a community-based domestic violence project serving Pocahontas, Greenbrier, Mercer, and Monroe Counties in southeast West Virginia.

A complete tasting list of chocolate offerings at the festival will be released the week before the big day on social media and will also be available as a printed map brochure on festival day. Even without tasting tickets, visitors can still enjoy the festivities. The event features free live music, chef demonstrations, and family-friendly activities.

Visit www.visitlewisburgwv.com/lewisburg-chocolate-festival to purchase tickets online, view FAQ’s, and check for the full tasting list as the event draws closer.
