GVT’s Music Director and Kermit’s Kabaret Master of Ceremonies, Kermit Medsker

Greenbrier Valley Theatre (GVT), the state professional theatre of West Virginia, is proud to present the ever-popular Kermit’s Kabaret on Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Daywood Lobby of Greenbrier Valley Theatre.

Tickets are $16. Seating is limited. Reservations are highly recommended. For more information, call the GVT Box Office at 304-645-3838 or visit www.gvtheatre.org.

This popular musical extravaganza returns for a night full of fun! Starring Kermit Medsker as Master of Ceremonies, the evening will feature show tunes taken from contemporary and standard musical theatre repertoire, performed by GVT’s professional guest actors.

“This one’s exciting because we have two casts participating. The ladies of Honky Tonk Laundry and some performers you’ll remember from previous cabarets who are in the cast of The Tragedy of Julius Caesar,” said Medsker.

Kermit’s Kabaret has become a popular musical variety show that offers patrons an experience they won’t find anywhere else in Lewisburg. Medsker, Master of Ceremonies and GVT’s Music Director, began his career at GVT with Pirates of Penzance when productions were held in The Barn by Greenbrier Valley Airport. His recent Music Director credits include Chicago, Stand By Your Man: The Tammy Wynette Story and Beehive!.

The program is presented with financial assistance from the WV Division of Arts, Culture & History, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the WV Commission on the Arts.
