Nellie Morrison Farley, 83, of White Sulphur Springs passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, at the Peyton Hospice House. Born Jan. 16, 1942, in Renick, she was the daughter of the late Ottie Ray and Vernie Jane Cochran Morrison. Nellie was retired from The Greenbrier and was a member of the White Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra K. Farley, brothers, Ed, Bud and Archie Morrison, and sisters, Audrey Stanley, Louise Morrison, Mary Windon, Stella Reinholt and Sadie Windon.
Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Herman Farley, sons, Gerald Farley (Linda) and Randy Farley (Kathy), siblings, Sam Morrison (Peggy), Jim Morrison (Gloria), Pete Morrison and Nancy Liptrap (Wayne), seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 12 noon, Friday, Oct. 3, at the Morgan Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in the Orchard Cemetery, Ballard, WV.
