Linda Carol Porterfield, 77, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Lewis Gale Hospital – Salem. Born Jan. 24, 1948, in Ronceverte, she was the daughter of the late Julian Ray and Lois Evelyn Hodges Sams. Linda retired as a Registered Nurse.
Survivors include her loving husband, Ronald Eugene Porterfield, daughters, Gina Bergeron (Geoffrey) and Julie Donaldson, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
