It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Anthony Carola, affectionately known as “Peewee,” who left this world on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the age of 54, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born on Sept. 16, 1970, in Ronceverte, Robert was the beloved son of the late Bobbie Gene and Ruby Mae Webster Carola. A dedicated and hardworking individual, he devoted 35 years of his life to Mullican Flooring, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

Robert was deeply rooted in his faith and was a cherished member of the Greenbrier Valley Church of the Nazarene. His love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for fishing and hunting, and he found immense joy in spending time with his family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Robert’s sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. His kindness, dedication, and unyielding love for his family and community will be remembered and celebrated by all who had the privilege of sharing life with him.

May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memories bring comfort to those who mourn his loss.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Carola; his father-in-law, Walter Neely; his sister-in-law, Tracey Neely; and his nephew, Eric Eggleston.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia “Trish” Neely Carola; his children, daughter Aly Carola, son Andy Carola, and stepson Trey Cochran. His brothers, Joe Carola (Betty) and John Carola, and his sister, Caren Dodway (Jim), his mother-in-law, Gloria Neely, continue to hold his memory close. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews Jennifer Crane (Kevin), Joey Carola, Jason Carola (Jaime), and Jonathan Carola, as well as his great-nieces and nephews, Hannah, Autumn, Tori, Mary, Lily, Mya, Luke, Heath, and Athena. Robert’s life touched countless friends and extended family members, all of whom will forever remember his warmth and unwavering devotion.

A celebration of Roberts life will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, June 27, at the Greenbrier Valley Church of the Nazerene with Pastor Terry Simpkins officiating. Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net. Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
