We’re ready to settle in to a winter routine of getting together with friends, sharing meals made of nutritious locally grown foods, and making plans for Spring -which will be here before we know it! For farmers, production planning is at the top of our list. We’re putting together seed orders NOW! If there’s a particular fruit or veggie you want – especially ones that are not available at the grocery store – let us know!
In the meantime, stop by the indoor Farmers Market at the Fairgrounds this Saturday and every Saturday through March 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Some new vendors will be showing up, and some who were on vacation will be coming back. Would you like to learn to spin? Jeanie Collins will be there with her spinning wheel – ask her to show you how!
Take a Tai Chi Gong lesson at 11 a.m. (only $5) then lunch at the Market Cafe.
Do you play traditional String Band music? Bring your instruments and join the circle of Market String Band music makers – starting at 11 a.m.
