At an Arbor Day Event held on Apr. 11 at Lewisburg Elementary School, Lewisburg Mayor Beverly White made an appearance to read “The Giving Tree” to Pre-K students, along with an Arbor Day Proclamation. Then, on Apr. 29, Mayor White returned with Andy Sheets of the West Virginia Division of Forestry for a tree planting event.
