
Earlier this year, Greenbrier County School students traveled to WVU Tech to compete in the West Virginia Bridge Design and Balsa Wood State Finals. These talented students were challenged to create a bridge using balsa wood that could hold the most weight compared to the weight of the bridge itself. EGMS swept the competition. Congratulations to the following students for their outstanding achievements:
Balsa Wood Design Competition: 1st Place – Arabella Webb (who has now secured this title for two consecutive years); 2nd Place – Emma Vincent and Ellie Burns; 3rd Place – Jayce Bush and Brysan Hamrick
Software Design Contest: Ellie Burns & Emma Vincent – 1st Place (second consecutive win)
