Cora Louise “Corky” Davis, 86, of Rupert passed away on Thursday, Mar. 13, 2025, at Peyton Hospice House.
She was born on Jan. 26, 1939, in Rainelle to the late A.F. and Sylvia Mullins.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Russell S. Davis and a half-brother, Edward Mullins.
Cora was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was active in the Rupert community especially the Rupert Public Library serving on the board and as a treasurer. She loved seeing all her friends whenever she was out. She was very close to her brothers and sister-in-law’s. She was an extended mother to a host of children in the Rupert Community.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Arthur (Moon) Mullins, Frank Mullins and Andy (Mary) Mullins; children, Bill (Sharon) Davis, Bruce (Kelly) Davis, Ruth (Bill) Manifold and Nancy (David) Silber; granddaughters, Morgan, Vicki, Laura and Allie; numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored.
There will be no service. Private interment will be at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be made to the Rupert Public Library or Peyton Hospice House 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
