Charles Allen Weikle, 95, formerly of Union, WV, passed away Jan. 17, 2025, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born Dec. 5, 1929, in Union, WV, he was the son of the late Hobert and Sarah “Sallie” Taylor Weikle.

In addition to his brothers, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Hattie McClary; brothers, Johnny, Alfred, Eldridge, Ronald, and Robert; and sisters, Lillie Ward and Nancy Kellum.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Weikle of Beckley, WV; stepdaughter, Lisa McClary of Sinks Grove, WV; brothers, Paul Weikle of Union, WV, and Pete Weikle of Hinton, WV; sister, Mabel Bennett of Hinton, WV; sister-in-law, Margie Weikle of Union, WV; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV, with Pastor Ernest Francis and Pastor Jim Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the New Lebanon Cemetery in Pickaway, WV.

A visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23, at the funeral home. Additional visitation time will be held from 1 p.m. until time of services on Friday.
