Lewisburg has once again made it into Travel + Leisure magazine, this time in a piece titled “10 Best Small Towns in West Virginia, According to Locals,” published on Aug. 17. The other towns named, in order, are Capon Bridge, Wheeling, Moundsville, Harpers Ferry, Buckhannon, Richwood, Thomas and Davis, Fayetteville, and Charles Town. Lewisburg came in as number four on the list, with mentions of the State Fairgrounds and local breweries attributing to the city’s popularity.
Also this week, Lewisburg made it to round two of voting in Blue Ridge Outdoors’ 2024 Top Adventure Towns contest.
