The public is invited to attend concerts of sacred music at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in White Sulphur Springs. These free concerts are held on Sunday afternoons at 3 p.m.
The Nov. 12 concert will feature sacred music by Handel, Bach, Haydn, Faure, and more. Performers include Tim Holbrook, tenor, Stephanie Bachman and Joyce Perlove, recorders, and Leah Trent, harp and harpsichord.
The Dec. 3 concert will feature Gregorian chant and other music for the Advent and Christmas seasons. Performing will be Hunter Hensley, cantor, with Leah and Rodger Trent on clavicytherium, harp, and organetto.
St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church is located at 40798 Midland Trail East in White Sulphur Springs, WV, across from the Greenbrier Clinic. The church is handicapped accessible.
