Lewisburg – Ima Jean Harvey, 89, formerly of Clintonville, passed away on Monday June 5, 2023, at Peyton Hospice in Fairlea.
She was born June 10, 1933, in Clintonville, the daughter of the late Roy Lee and Nettie Hanna Loudermilk.
Ima Jean was a member of James Chapel United Methodist Church and a retired Food Service Administrator with the Greenbrier County Board of Education.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Dewey Harvey; son, Gary Dean Harvey; sister, Alene Loudermilk and brothers, Hartley Loudermilk and Paul Loudermilk.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Randy Harvey (Debbie) of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Jennifer Hedrick (Tanya), Valerie Jordan, Jessica Hammack and Tiffany Latocha (Steve); great-grandchildren, Madison Carter (Isaac), Caylea Carter, Jamison Sizemore (Sarah), Jacquelyn Sizemore, Jayce Hammack, Jordan Hammack, Josslyn Hammack and Poppy Lee; great-great-grandchild, Alyla Syed; sister, Barbara Johnson; sister-in-law, Faye Yates; and several special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held for Ima Jean on Friday, June 9, at 1 p.m. at James Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Jesse Pope and Pastor Mike Loudermilk officiating. Interment will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, WV.
The family received family and friends on Thursday evening, June 8 at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
