McKinney awarded Fulbright Scholarship

Ellie McKinney, older daughter of Bill and Amy McKinney of Minneapolis, Minnesota, has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study in Vietnam for the 2023-24 school year. Ellie will be graduated from Occidental College in May and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and captain of the Women’s Rugby Team. She is a National Merit Scholar at Occidental College in Los Angeles.
Ellie is the granddaughter of Douglas and Sue McKinney of Lewisburg and the great-granddaughter of the late Bill and Elinor Tuckwiller, also of Lewisburg.
Fulbright Scholarships are quite competitive and are awarded by the U.S. State Department. Their goal is to foster relationships and understanding on a national basis.
