Alvon-Hayroth Graham, 68, passed away on Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, at his home on Whites Draft Road.
He was born July 10, 1954, on Allegheny Mountain near Alvon, the son of the late Acie and Dessie Fain Graham.
Hayroth had worked as custodian with Greenbrier County Schools with over 42 years of service, starting out at Anthony Creek in 1975 then to Frankford Elementary in 1986. He liked the children and they liked him; often coming up and hugging him. Hayroth loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. He liked westerns and hunting shows.
Preceding him in death other than his parents, were his brothers and sisters; Acie, Elouise Ramsey, Wava, Ruby, Virginia, Norma, Verena, Gaston (Weber), and Renth.
A loving husband, father and grandfather to his wife of 39 years, Tina Tucker Graham; son, Justin (Delta) Graham of Alvon; grandchildren, Calvin Richardson of Vinton, VA, Hunter Meadows (Lexi Price) of Michigan and Jacob Meadows of Alvon; brothers, Atz Graham of Alvon, Kenwood Graham (Diana) of Lindside and McKimmon (Mac) Graham (Darlene) of Alvon; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the Alvon Living Word Church where Pastor Buck Caldwell officiated.
Interment was in the Graham Family Cemetery on the family farm on Allegheny Mountain.
The family received family and friends on Tuesday at the church before the service.
Serving as pallbearers were: Bob Graham, Rick Graham, Ron Graham, Ike Wade, Steve Wade and Andrew Graham; Jacob Meadows will serve as honorary pallbearer.
