The streets of Downtown Lewisburg will be filled with runners and “walkers” on Saturday, Oct. 25, as the “Run United” ½ Marathon and “Run of the Living Dead” Zombie 5K Run come to town.
New this year, runners can receive a free massage at the end of the footrace. Restore and Renew, a local medical massage business, will offer 10-minute massages at the finish line. Restore and Renew is located in Lewisburg and offers massage and manual techniques to help individuals with pain management, stress reduction, post-surgical healing and to enhance overall health.
Owner Jamie Ewing has over 13 years experience as a therapist. She is a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist as well as a licensed physical therapist assistant.
