Ronceverte-Stephanie Wood, 36, passed away Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, at the Pikeville Medical Center.
Born Mar. 18, 1985, in Majuro, Marshall Islands, Stephanie was the daughter of Johnny Chong and the late Tammy Chong.
She attended the Zions Light Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Stephanie was a Photographer with R&S Photography. She was a loving devoted mommy to her children and her nieces and nephews.
Including her father, survivors are her husband of 16 years, Franklin Wood; children, Elijah Charles, Christopher James, JoyAnna Faith and Sophie Noelle Wood; special friends, Candice Thomas (Joey) of Lewisburg, and Amanda Bryant (Darrell) of Alderson; her “Nanny” and second mom, Crystal Byer of Friars Hill; as well as many other friends.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 28, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, with Pastor Gary Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the McLean Cemetery, Ronceverte.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Dec. 27, at the funeral home.
