Ronceverte-Johnie D. Lucas, 71, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a long illness.
He was born Mar. 18, 1950, at Second Creek, the son of the late Grover and Goldie Hoke Lucas.
Johnie was of the Protestant faith, a truck driver, logger and mechanic.
Surviving are his wife, Tamara “Tammy” Wright Lucas; sons, Abie Lucas and companion Kontessa Bostic of Ronceverte and Seth Lucas and wife Rachel of Sinks Grove and their daughter, Harlow; and his puppy dog, “Jake.”
Graveside services were held on Wednesday June 16, at the Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery in Organ Cave where Pastor Ralph Hubbard officiated.
