Starting Thursday, Sept. 3, at 12 noon, the White Sulphur Springs Public Library will be giving away a limited number of book bags filled with school supplies for elementary and middle school children.
In order to receive a book bag, the child must be present and able to tell the staff about something he/she read over the summer. Regardless of whether the child is going to school, being homeschooled, participating in remote learning, or doing a little of everything, the WSS Library Board of Directors and library staff want to show our support for the minds of tomorrow.
We would also like to thank the Seneca Trail Charitable Foundation for their support with making this program possible. Questions can be answered at 304-536-1171.
The library is located at 344 W Main St. in White Sulphur Springs and open to the public on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Curbside services are offered on weekdays from 10 am. to 6 p.m. Patrons entering the library need to wear face mask/covering and social distancing is respected.
