Thirty-four local Solid Waste Authorities (SWAs) will receive grants totaling $400,000 from the West Virginia Solid Waste Management Board (SWMB).
The grants were approved by the SWMB at its meeting this week in Charleston. Greenbrier County received $10,000 for a roof replacement.
The SWMB Grant Program is designed to assist local SWAs in properly managing solid waste within their respective counties or regions.
