Bingo has been around for about 500 years, and has been used to do all sorts of things from teaching history to winning some extra cash. The Greenbrier County 4-H Leader’s Association hopes this Bingo will generate funds for 4-H’ers attending 4-H camp this coming summer.

“4-H Camp is probably the biggest event we have each year for our youth and the most anticipated,” says Robin Haynes the 4-H Youth Development Agent. “Any funds we can generate will help reduce the cost for our 4-H families and be better able to provide activities and classes that will make lasting camping memories.”

Pay $25 to play 21 games. The winners of the first 20 games will merit a variety of prizes from Arbonne, Avon, Celebrating Home, Gold Canyon, Longaberger, Mary Kay, Miche, Pampered Chef, Premier, Scentsy, Squared Creations, Silpada, Simply Said, Squared Creations, Tastefully Simple, and the winner from the last game will win the jackpot prize of a $100 value.

Bingo will start promptly at 4 p.m. along with the judging of the Annual Venison Cooking Contest Entries. If you’re not feeling lucky but still want to support your Greenbrier County 4-H, then you could participate in the Silent Auction starting at 4 p.m. or the live Auction featuring items starting at 6 p.m.

Auction items include: handmade jewelry, artwork from Jeanne Brenneman, power tools from SJ Neathawk, gifts from Fort Donnally Farm, Greenbrier Valley Health Club, North Star Farm, Wolf Creek, gift certificates from Ace Adventures-Zipliing, All About Beauty, Brown Photography, 50 East, Food & Friends, L&S Pistol, Mason Jar, Prime 44, Stop In Food Stores, Sunny Delite Tanning Salon and a stay at Mountain Quest and Overlook at Snowshoe.

A gallery of activities for children and concessions will be provided as well. There is something for the whole family, so come on out and support Greenbrier County 4-H and sending our youth to summer 4-H Camp.
